How do you lead an online conference that’s under-resourced and paid $0?



With 3 years of UX Auckland community organising experience under my belt, I joined the Service Design Network Young Talent Board’s sophomore conference knowing I had the right skills to offer.

But with so much to do and so little free time, how did I motivate myself and fellow volunteers to push through?


How do you reassure Netflix about their new cinema venture?



Content streaming pioneers Netflix invested in and completed a website redesign for Paris Theater. But barely a year later they realised Paris’ brand positioning needed differentiating from other indie cinemas of New York.

Netflix provided a single design for a reimagined desktop home screen. The only catch is their budget was extremely tight. Is this a problem for their post-covid theater reopening?
